In to the deep slumber

Closing my eyes

Those dark shadows

I see afloat

Playful, entwined

Laughing together

Languid sometimes

Dancing wrapped around

Each other

Synchronized moves

The dark closing the

Distance between

Sitting on the porch Steps

hands clasped

Walking along the river side

Heads inclined

Resting upon each other

Bodies Silhouetted against

The sparkling sea

Shimmering golden sand

By the crimson lights of the setting sun

Staying in proximity

Swaying In harmony

Rocking in the ‘moonlight’

Cool and serene

Spreading around

Drenching the souls

In ‘togetherness’  and ‘solitude’

No faces, No identities

No visible expressions

No words

simply sharing love

Swirling around

Past me ‘Smoothly’

Reminding of love

Once again

Saw my silent resilience

Smiled only at me

Whispering softly

‘Let love not pass by ‘

They bade me good bye

And promised a return

And never to leave me

‘Alone’!
